About District

Mauganj is the 53rd district of Madhya Pradesh state and 5th district of Rewa division, which came into existence by separating from Rewa district in the year 2023. Having an area of 1866.88 Sq KM. It is Bounded on the earth by the Prayagraj and Mirzapur districts of the uttar Pradesh respectively on the south and west. Mauganj District Lies under Rewa Loksabha Seat and it has two assembly seats namely Mauganj and Deotalab. Mauganj, Hanumana and Naigarhi are the three Tehsils lies in the boundaries of mauganj district.
